You missed the pilot circuit when cleaning as its starving for fuel.

do you have your airfilter cover off or modified? The bigger carb will not run on there with lid on it suffocates.Bump it up 2 over on main and 1 on pilot and do a plug chop.

I had the blue lt250r when i made this name now i have a lt500r and still the 250r name is what i meant.lol And wouldnt trade my zilla for anything newer !!!!

do a compression test tell me what you have how can ya get help if ya dont come back with the results?

if you have a bad crankseal it will suck oil from tranny side and rev to the moon from flywheel side.

lol i have 6 sunls for the 5 kids got a steal at the time, the motormount bolt on bottom have all been replaced and cracked the motormount flange off on the first before noticing the cause(bolt) But the kid have a blast what can ya say. they wouldnt last 15 mins at the hands of me lmao

id look into the yfz450s deep as they require alot of attention valves ect. Ihate all 4 strokes equally so im not just saying this because its a 4 stroke. Goto the yamaha forums scope it out. as for cleaning i stopped being anal i just spray it with wd40 before i go out and hit it with powerwasher when home....You used to be able to eat off this 1987 now .... No biggie i just didnt want the poor guy trying to stack 2 clutch kits worth of steel in the basket...........he would be down at the hardware asking for longer bolts and springs, maybe a deepdish clutch cover..lol

Put hand over backside of carb and crank it youll feel it. If you do feel it,Shut off gas drain carb. Take a little gas/oil(bout 1/3-1/2 cup) and pour it on air filter open throtle all the way open and start if it starts and revs up shut off and remove carb as you will be taking it apart, very easy. Need help ask.

Castor 927(maxima) 24:1 and she looks clean and oily everytime i pull her apart ,powervalve never gets gummed up.

I have to admit the quiet 4 stroke is great for hunting but i wouldnt trade my zilla for the world.

I was thinking air leak also.get the old can carb cleaner out start it and spray around intake and head if it doesnt stop by then spray it into the carb and that should shut her off if still reving to moon.they rev up hi when you forget to turn gas on and its starving for fuel too. but im the only one that forgets to turn fuel on haha.
