Hey all just got done rebuilding carb and have a problem. The carb is back to stock settings 1 1/2 out on Air screw and factory jets. My problem is now when its running its got a high idle. the needle slide is flush at bottom and the choke is working properly and the idle screw is backed out and not touching the slide but still have a high idle. I checked the boot from carb to engine and it has no leaks. I sprayed carb cleaner all around it and its not leaking no where
Can anyone help please im stumped
Thanks

Well if figured it out. When you install this clip on its side bend the tip end inward that way theres no pushing against the carb body and getting hung up

Hey all just got my first ATV. Bought it for 500 dollars and real clean. Carb was stopped up so i orderd a carb kit for it and having problems. After installing everything and started it up it was revin real high after trying to figure the problem out i noticed the plunger wasnt going flush to the bottom. after trying to figure it out i realized somehow the needle does go down it seems far enough but if i remove the clip that goes inbetween the spring and needle everything works right but ive tried to install it on its side and facing up no difference.. can anyone help
Thanks
