I got a 2002 Arctic Cat 500 4x4 automatic a few days ago and it started 1 time and now all it does is backfire through the carb. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be. Thanks

Hi everyone. I am hoping to find a service manual or exploded view diagram for a Lincoln 110cc Automatic Mini quad. Or any advice ect. Something seems to be locking up inside. However the quad has sat for a while. I have lubed EVERYTHING and think the piston does go up and down when I move the flywheel clockwise, but it locks going forward. Thanks and if photo,s or any more info is needed please let me know.

Thanks for the welcome to quadcrazy. I am still looking for the PDF service manual for a 2000 Kawasaki 300 Prairie 2x4 automatic. I have had noooooo luck to this point. I have searched the forum as much as I know how to, sort of new to this computer thing. I did find a page of PDF manuals posted by oxidized_black but that one was not on the list. I PM'ed him on his website a couple of days ago but have not heard back from him. Or......maybe I just am looking in the wrong place for his answer. At any rate my rig is down and I use it every day, so I neeeeed help!! I downloaded one for a 300 Bayou but it was not the same. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello all, hope someone can help me out. Just did an overhaul on this 500 TIS and I still have a carb issue. This is one of those carbs with two additional rubber diaphs in it. When ridding in H it seems to be starving for gas and quits all the time. When ridding in L it works better until you really need some power then same thing, starving for gas. I have all the settings per the manual. Can anyone give me a clue as to where I may need to make an adjustment?

Hello, my 500 makes this clattering noise when started and when it warms up (15 min riding or going up a hill) it dies and you can't get it started until it cools off. Usually let it sit for 15 min and it will start back up again. I have torn it apart expecting to see a bad piston/rings/wrist pin etc. but nothing is bad. I did not check the valve clearance before tearing it apart figured that valve clearance wouldn't keep it from starting once warm. Anyway, have taken off both side covers and the clutches. Nothing seems to be worn or obvious. Anyone have any suggestions on what to look for? Would a bad waterpump cause this?

Email: [email protected] Message: I have a SUZUKI EIGER 400 automatic 2002 4 wheeler....I thought the starter went out because of the selonoid switch noise when trying to start it....I took the selonoid switch off and put it on a same year and modle 400 5 speed and it worked....changed out the starter with a ordered one and it still makes the noise in the selonoid switch....I am charging the battery again....and how does the battery get charged on a this year and modle....????
