  1. I bought a 96 bayou 300 4x4 would like a little more clearance underneath as i plan to use this to plow this winter for a few people. the problem is that with the plow on i cannot load the atv on my own as the mount area of the push bars catches on my tailgait. Would a high lifter lift and wheel spacers to maintain the width be a good idea or a bad idea? let me know as i have never used either and this is my first Utility atv. thanks I have heard about problems with lifts and cv boots being a problem is this true?
  2. Hi. I recently had to replace the diaphragm on my QM 500, so I decided to add a sigma 6 jet kit. I basically replaces the main jet with a 135 (was 130) and moved the clip on the needle down one space (as per their directions) towards the RICH direction. Now that I have it reinstalled it starts great, idles great but if you try and give it any throttle it sputters, pops and looses all power. With the choke on it will accept throttle. This implies to me that I am running LEAN, which seems strange as I moved the needle towards rich and put a bigger jet in? I have checked the rubber connections on either side of the carb, the carb has been out and it is CLEAN. So any thoughts other then just "clean the carb". Thanks Chris
  3. I got the Alba / Artrax clutch kit installed today! Its seems to work good on the short ride I took. Once I heal up from having surgery this past Monday Ill give it a good long test ride I cant wait!

  7. have anyone brought brought a rear diffferential beraing kit for kvf300a4or kvff400 does the kit include bearing for the pinion or just for axle and neeedle bearing inside rear diff look at some of the kit but doesnt say if included bearing for pinion sent request to find out but no response needed to know before ordering because the pinion bearing is really the only one i need but cant find where u can just buy the pinion bearing without buying pinion as a set.:

  10. Hello, Thank you for taking the time to view and hopefully reply to this postings. I have developed a patented UNIVERSAL track conversion kit, which can be used on SPORT or Utility version ATV's. I have spent 4 years in the design and countless prototypes. In my opinion, my kit blows everyone else out of the water. I have 3 working prototypes that have been tested by varies pro riders, they have been unsuccessful in breaking them. I would like to share the advantages of my kits and get your opinion, if I should take this to the next level (manufacturing and production). I am hesitant due to incredible amounts of capital involved in the production and marketing that this project would require, but I believe that there is a place and a value for my product line in our sport. The advantages of my kit are the following: > Can be used on SPORT or Utility Quads. > Increased stability, side to side which reduces the possibility of the machine flipping backwards. > Nearly ZERO loss in speed and performance unlike other kits. > The tracks will not fall off during hair pin turns. > Built for extreme riding and jumping. > Maintains stock ride height. > Used in sand, mud, hard pack surfaces, SNOW. I have made ski kits which can easily be installed on the front, so it can be used as a snowmobile in the winter. It rides like a ATV but drives like a snowmobile! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_Dtnx0XcM4]TRX 450 HRC Kit GoPRO HD July 7th - YouTube[/ame] Funny thing is, I posted this video on another forum and stated how im riding in the "dunes" and immediately I had replys from well respected members saying that wasnt the dunes, and that was "pure dirt" that im riding on, and their not kidding!! lol I found it hard to believe I had to argue it, but I posted that the sand I'm riding on is from an ocean that once covered Alberta, (Middle Devonian period, 375 million years ago, when the Pacific Ocean covered Alberta ... ) And then explained that by textbook definition its called the dunes lol I havnt got any responses yet, but I imagine they're scratching their heads on that one, I'm sure they believed the only thing classified as the dunes was dried up lakes and desert regions.. lol when the area I ride is because of a dried up ocean. Im sure it blew their minds.
  13. I have a 02 Raptor 660 and I need to put a top end seal kit on it and was worried about the timing and cam. Anyone help me out with pics or links on how to set timing just right so when I throw it together I'm good to go? Greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks.
  14. Has anyone had their plastics camo dipped? If so, how much was it and who did you use? Also, any feedback on these DIY camo dip kits ? ( Camo Dip Kit - Do It Yourself Water Transfer Camo Dip Kit ). They have a bunch of camo patterns to choose from plus carbon fiber.
  15. I have a 2004 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4 manual that i would like to install a jet Kit on. I was told that Its a good idea to jet them when you snorkel them. Im kinda new to the atv game and do a lot of hardcore mudding. so please any suggestions on what brand and what size jet to start out with would be greatly appreciated!
  16. I have seen a few lift kits available that seem really basic and are very inexpensive ($70-100) So Ive been considering doing a 2" lift. But WHAT are the disadvantages? does it weaken components?
  17. hey all just about to purchase a snorkel kit for my 05 660 grizzly and was wondering about something. the one kit im looking at is the nicest looking yet, but it is only intake, cvt and other vent lines. i saw other kits that include the drive belt. just wondering which one i should go with. if i really don't need a breather for the belt, im ordering the kit online today. i have driven in water before lots of times and my belt has never slipped once. thanks david

  20. Ive been looking around and reading alot about these clutch kits. There seems to be many out there and many different types. I do mostly trail riding and mud bogging. But alot more trail riding and some road riding. I would like a kit that gives me more lower torque and basically alot more power. Pretty much want the best kit for power. I run stock tires and i have no added mods to the bike, its all stock. I would like some advice on which kits you would recommand and which sites would you use and also what other mods would you added for better performance. I really dont want to mess with the computer much or add mods that will basically destroy the quad in no time. Runs and drives great now so i dont want that to change but if there performance parts out there that make the bike better i would like to look at them. So if anyone has mods done to there quad that they liked and they noticed added performance let me know.
