We would like to wish everyone in this community a Happy Holiday season! We thank you for your support of QUADCRAZY and your fellow ATV owners, and look forward to a great 2011. Merry Christmas!

It has come time that we make some changes around here, things are a bit old and running on old technology. There have been so many advances in coding and platform technology that we are way behind the ball. We need to get up to speed. We will be upgrading QUADCRAZY to a newer forum driven platform. When that does happen, we will be moving over our members and forum topics/posts only. At this given time, we are not planning on bringing over any videos, pictures, or personal messages. Our forum is the most important and visited section of this community. This will allow everyone to have a fresh start with newer photos and videos to share in the community and build some new content and friends. Our ETA to launch our new site is by October 1st, but that is TBD still. Please save all of your information that is not in the forum. I wanted to give everyone enough opportunity to digest this and start thinking about any info that they may need that is not in the forum. As we make progress, Ill post some images of our upgrade work and keep everyone posted. More to come!

As we close the 2014 year and plan for 2015, we have decided to shut down a few sections here on QUADCRAZY. Effective immediately, we are closing our Blogs, Groups, Events, Polls, Photo Battle, Quiz, and Music sections. These are not widely used by our community and often attract spammers. Any questions and posting should be primarily made in our forum section as we move forward. In 2015 we will focus on making sure our forum continues to be the primary spot for our members to gather, ask questions, and share their ATV experiences. We are also exploring ways to update our community to newer and more up to date platforms as technology is changing, mobile connectivity is growing, and some of our sections are not as "mobile friendly" as we would like. It's been about 10 years now for QUADCRAZY, we're looking for another great 10 years to come. Please continue to support us by visiting www.quadcrazy.com and participating in our forums. Looking forward to the new lifestyle. Bought my son a Blaster a couple of weeks ago. He was bored riding by himself so I picked up a 2004 Sportsman 600. Wow!! What a blast. Tore up the backyard yesterday playing cops and robbers. Got a few new paintball welts today. I am sending out a warning to all ATV riders in Wisconsin. We are new. And are we excited!!! Living the good life has no end.

I wanted to start this thread about internet link backs and how important it is to this site that we have links out there on other sites back to us. It helps in the rankings of Search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo...where they rank you higher and index more of your site. That being said..over the past few years, we have generated some great link backs, usually by people copying urls of pages and posts, then pasting them into other sites, forums, etc. Some of you use your STATUS BUTTON or Referrer URL, and that links back to us..which is awesome. Other people find different ways to be creative with our banners and regular text links. Some of you post links on your facebook, myspace, and other sites. Any method is great...it's really about getting out there..so your support is REALLY appreciated. We're able to see internally where links come from..but sometimes it's general and not specific enough. So we just wanted to say thank you and if you are using a link or image that links back to QUADCRAZY, post the url here to the page that it's on and share it with us...we'd love to see it and THANK YOU for supporting QUADCRAZY. QUADCRAZY ATV Photo Contests are back! Our last community photo contest was this past May. We took a break from these contests to try some new things, which brought in our "MOST COMMENTS" and "Female Only" contests this past summer. Now we're back to what we have been doing for the past 3 years, and hoping to attract more members into the forum and participating in our contests. Our monthly ATV contests that we host in our forum, are a way to appreciate the members who participate with each other via our forums, which is why we have a minimum post count of 10 to enter this type of contest. You may have been wondering what has been going on with QUADCRAZY.com this week. Nothing but message errors saying that the site is down. Yes, we have been down all week, since last Sunday morning. In a nutshell, our server where QUADCRAZY.com resides, had a fatal hardware malfunction Sunday morning. The hard drive crashed and up until now, has been mostly unrecoverable. Fortunately, we were able to revert to a backup of our site that we had. The backup however was also incomplete and from an earlier date, so we opted to wait and do our best to recover ALL the data, up to the point of failure. We are confident that this has now been done to the best of our ability and have decided to open QUADCRAZY.com back up. We have extended the January ATV Photo Contest into February andis now the January/February ATV Photo Contest. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you missed the community while it was down.
