I am unable to find the default mixture screw setting for this Mikuni BSR33 carb. The screw only unscrews 4 turns and does not unthread out of the carb, (no way to clean it). When I took the carb apart to clean it the screw was set at 1 turn out. I bought this unit when it was only a few months old from a friend so I know it is the original carb. I know most carbs are set at 2.5 turns out, but would like to find out what this specific carb should be set for.

Does anyone know how or what kinda of tool to use to ajust the pilot screw on a 94 250 suzuki quadrunner. It seems that you can't get anything between the carb and the motor. I belive it should be turned out 2 1/2 turns out is this correct? Thx Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

2001 AC 300 Green When seating the fuel mixture screw is it supposed to protrude slightly? I can see the tip sticking out. Im just wondering if what I think is seat is actually to far in. Should it be below the surface already when I begin backing out 2-2 1/4 reset?

Hi all, I have a 2007 king quad 450 with starting/idle/power problems. My two boys had a go at it while I was away at work and now I found that the idle air screw was removed and I don't know about setting it up. I want to set this before I start on the other problems. New fuel pump, new injector, new foam air filter, error code reads -C00. Any help would be appreciated.

How do I and where is the idle screw adjustment for a boys' Raptor 80? After it warms up and sometimes when it is cold, it will not idle very well, mostly when it warms up though. I have looked for the adjustment and cannot find it. I must be blind. It has approximately 15 hrs on it since new in April 2006. Anyway, please help me. Steve

I prefer to do as much myself as possible, but I was uncomfortable removing the carb, so I decided to have a local shop install my Dynojet kit on my 08 AC 400. The guy doing the install told me he didn't adjust the pilot screw (aka fuel mixture screw) because it required a special tool he didn't have. He described it as round on one side and flat on the other. The Dynojet instructions say to adjust with a flat head screwdriver. I called their tech line, and they seemed to think only Honda and Polaris used the D-shaped adjustment screw, but they're sending me a tool anyway. Per my manual, the stock pilot screw setting is 1 3/4 turns out, and the Dynojet kit recommends 2 1/2 turns out. If it's idling and running okay at lower throttle, will I be okay leaving the pilot screw at the factory setting, or should I go ahead and adjust to Dynojet recommendations? Can I make the adjustment with the carb still on, or does it need to come off?
