  3. Hey everyone! Wanted to give some brief updates on some different bits of news we have going on! First off, the Fishers ATV World episode that will feature last years Haunted Forest Ride at Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park will be on the Outdoor Channel on Monday, February 27th at 4:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 12:30 AM. We are really looking forward to seeing how it turned out, so make sure to tune in! The show will re-air on May 21st at the same times. Make sure to check it out! If you were there, you may just see yourself on national television! Also, the Holler Crawlers have been conducting free guided rides all winter. We have had some great ones so far, and its been really warm on most of them. Jon, Larry, and Gary have all taken groups out so far and it looks like that will continue into the spring. We have another guided ride date set for Saturday, March 3. It will be an off park ride. More details are forthcoming. To stay up to date on our guided rides, you will need to check our forum out at www.hollercrawlers.com • Index page and register real quick if you haven’t already. Your registration will be approved within a day or two. But check under the Rides and Events forum for latest info. Or you can check out our facebook page at Holler Crawlers Off-Road Club of Bell County, KY | Facebook as well for latest guided ride info. More info on meeting time and place for this ride coming soon. Also, we have some news concerning the events for 2012. First, we have decided to do a spring event. It will be called the Ride For Cody and will take place on May 5th at the Hwy 119 Trailhead of Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park at 10 AM. This is a benefit ride for LCpl Cody Evans, a local Marine from Speedwell, TN who was severely injured in combat. We would appreciate anyone and everyone coming out and helping with whatever financial donations you can. There will be a bunch of guided rides that day, some leaving at 10 AM and some at 12 noon. We hope to have some music later on that evening for everyone to enjoy. This will be a great day on the trails enjoying the spring weather, but most importantly it will help raise money for a great young man who has given so much to this country and keeping our freedoms alive. Please join us at the event, and if you have facebook you can RSVP by searching "Ride For Cody" or go to Holler Crawlers Off-Road Club of Bell County, KY | Facebook and click on the EVENTS link on the left. If you are unable to come but would like to donate, donations can be sent to this address: Regina and/or Cody Evans c/o Tammy Greene PO Box 3475 Morristown, TN 37815 Also, the last bit of news we have is concerning the 2012 Haunted Forest Ride, which will take place the weekend of Oct 19, 20, and 21. If you came last year, you know we had a great turnout and everyone seemed to have a great time. This year, we promise to again take it up another notch! First off, we are going to attempt to break the world record for most ATVs in a parade! We will need EVERYONES help in this, so bring every fourwheeler you own and please encourage all your friends to do the same! Utah holds the current world record at 1,870 and we will need everyones help to bring this record back to Appalachia where it belongs!!! We need a huge turn out so please come and like I said, invite all your friends with ATVs as well!!! Also, we are very happy to announce that our buddy and worlds most famous Holler Crawler, Brian Fisher, will be back at this years Haunted Forest Ride! We are thrilled to have him back around a place where he has so many fans and we know he is really appreciative of the love he gets when he’s here. So come out and meet the world’s most down-to-earth ATV celebrity at this years Haunted Forest Ride, the weekend of October 20th! We plan on having this year as a weekend long event, with the Haunted Forest Ride being the main attraction that Saturday evening. There will be a TON of new suprises to get your blood rushing this year, so look out! And as always, it will be completely free of charge to enter the event, and there is no charge to ride Wilderness Trail Off-Road Park. Can’t beat that! You may see other Halloween related ATV events, but you can guarantee this is THE ONE you want to go to. If you have facebook, make sure to click here and go RSVP for the 4th Annual Holler Crawler Haunted Forest Ride by going to Holler Crawlers Off-Road Club of Bell County, KY | Facebook and clicking on the EVENTS link on the left. 9. FIRST EVER SPRING OFF-ROAD EXPO RUMBLES INTO POMONA APRIL 4 – 6 Tickets Now Available For Purchase Online SANTA ANA, CALIF. – (March 25, 2008) The 2008 Off-Road Expo presented by Toyota, the nation’s largest off-road consumer products show series, will rumble into the Pomona Fairplex with plenty of off-road products and fun for the whole family for the first ever spring expo Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6. This three-day off-road showcase will feature all the latest off-road toys such as trucks, sand rails, ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, rock crawlers and Jeeps, as well as accessories, technologies, and gear from the off road industries’ leading national and local exhibitors. In addition to all the off-road vehicles, accessories and great show discounts, there will be amazing live-action entertainment for the whole family including exciting motorcycle stunt performances in the Motosphere steel globe and United Off-Road Challenge (UROC) rock racing demonstrations throughout the weekend. “The first ever Spring Off-Road Expo is a great addition to the series, as it is the perfect place for Southern California off-road enthusiasts to kick-off the season and see all the latest toys and accessories for the summer,” said Show Director Tom Gattuso. “Due to the success of the annual Fall Off-Road Expo in Pomona we wanted to give off-road fans another opportunity to come together with friends, check out the latest products in the industry and enjoy some amazing live action off-road entertainment. Off-Road Expo is also the best place to take advantage of great show discounts on vehicles, accessories and gear offered only on site at the expo.” New this year, the expo will feature heart pounding performances from a team of motorcycle stunt riders inside the Motosphere steel globe. During each performance, two to four riders will race within inches of each other in open throttle action inside an 18-foot steel globe and perform a sequence of tricks in all 360 degrees of the globe. The stunt team will wow attendees with a sequence of tricks and is surely a can’t miss feature for motorcycle fans of all ages! Back by popular demand will be UROC rock racing demonstrations featuring some of rock crawling’s most exciting competitors. Rockcross racing is a new breed of off-road motorsport that combines technical rock crawling with head-to-head racing, eliminating tedious time trials. The UROC demonstrations will allow attendees to get up-close and personal to this innovative new race form that marries the technical skills of rock crawling with the sheer thrill of racing as teams are not only pitted against each other, but also some of the world’s toughest obstacles. The UROC demonstrations will take place throughout all three days on a specially built track that lets fans get up close to all the action. The Spring Off-Road Expo will take place Friday, April 4, from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and culminates Sunday, April 6, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Held at the Pomona Fairplex, located at 1101 W. McKinley Avenue in Pomona, Calif., admission to the event is $12 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and children 5 and younger are free. Lowest ticket prices are available online at www.offroadexpo.com; $2 off discount coupons are available at Discount Tire Centers and participating off-road retailers. The Off-Road Expo presented by Toyota will also return to Salt Lake City for its third year April 25 – 27 and the ninth annual fall Off-Road Expo presented by Toyota will return to Pomona October 3 – 5.
