  1. Hey I own stock why Yfz 450 and I'm just looking to slap a turbocharger on it.. I was just wondering if they're pretty compatible with these machines it is the carburetored version Yfz 450. I have all the piping hook ups / kit that's threw HURON SPEED an i also have turbo lined up for it gt 12.. I was just wondering what else I need to make this work? I know i would need to up the Jets and stuff for starter but Is it just that simple or do I need blow off valves and like some time on regulator on it or so forth? Trying get ideal what i would need
  2. I just bought a 2012 brute force 300 that is an automatic. Im not use to an automatic but it seems to be revving very high at slow to medium speed. It does seem to go fast ~60mph so its not like the belt is slipping. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Thanks
  3. Hi goes anybody have this? thanks:wink:
  4. I have a Honda Rincon 680 with a few mods... I also have 32" Gorilla Solverbacks which weight roughly 50 lbs. I have trouble spinning them in deep thick mud... If I switch to 30" Gorilla Silverbacks that weight roughly 40 pounds, will a total of 40 POUNDS make a big enough difference or no... Please let me know what you think... Thanks! In return, I'll definately be replying back to any of your questions if I an knowedgable in the question asked...
  5. Okay so I need a little help just picked up a brand new 2012 yfz450 carb model being that it was a left over I thought my cutting out issue was bad fuel but even after draining the tank and putting fresh gas in it after riding for about 20-30 min in the trails if I hit the throttle wide open it cuts out bad (doesn't die though) it won't even climb hills and the one time it was so bad my buddy beat me on a stock 300ex my yfz is completely stock no mods at all and I have tried taking it back to dealer but since it mainly is after some trail riding they can not replicate the problem someone plz help I've only been able to ride this for one tank of gas being its running like chit and have to turn home at big hills my buddys chit quads climb right up
  6. Hope someone can help: I’m having the same issue with both of my new quads and I’m not sure what the solution is. Both quads are sputtering heavily when accelerating (regardless of gear) and now even having issues climbing any sort of hill even in 1st gear, it’s as though I was trying to ride it in to high of a gear…it just dies. Took it into the shop and they said they couldn’t replicate the problem, they thought maybe the chock wasn’t all the way in. That wasn’t the issue because I just took it out this past weekend and the same problem again. They performed a major service on the bike (Inspect & adjust valves, replace spark plugs, oil filter, inspect battery, etc etc). It’s having this problem more often in higher elevations (3k-5k) feet, but was even doing this out in the desert so it can’t only be an elevation issue. Dropped it back off at the shop on the way home…Anyone have any suggestions? Very frustrating
  7. I'm looking for a frame to fit my brand new Suzuki 2012 limited editon Z400. HELP is there an older model that will work?

  11. I had water in that box under the seat so I thought I had better look at the filter. By the time I got it back together I was almost in tears, and I used to work on British cars. I tried to remove the lid and it wouldn't come off until I removed the whole air box. To get it back on I had to remove the mounting bolts for that water catch box and separate it from the throttle body. I had to put the factory intake pipe on the air box 1st hoping I had it positioned right and fish it up through there. Basically the whole system is in it's own way. I also had it jacked up with both front wheels removed. Am I missing something here or is there a trick to this? I also wanted to ask if any one knows the HP rating for my machine? Arctic cat seem to think it's a secret

  16. anybody going to the poker run in callensburg ,PA July 28
  17. Just got a new brute force a few weeks and man this thing is nice. Every bit of info i read on it is exactly true, my last for wheeler i had was an 20 some year old honda Honda. Now i have the " bug " again mid-life crisis sh** i guess. This machine is very peppy on low-mid range torque, is very easy to operate, even in emergency cases. Rides like a dream, this machine also loves to climb, trust me......lol. Now i wish i would have purchased a 4x4, but stuck to my guns and told myself " If i need fourwheel drive to get out of a situation, then i dont need to be there. Thats why i have winch on the front . All i can say is ,Good power, torque, manueverability, and it has some good speed on the road....i saw 52 on the speedo, but i'm 44 yrs old thats out of my blood now. .Still some wildness left in me........................ MY MAIN QUESTIONS ARE DOES K/N OR SOMEONE PUT OUT AN AIRFILTER, AND WOULD LIKE A HI-PERFORMANCE SPARKPLUG................. OR ANY IDEAS WOULD HELP...............LOL GOT THAT CRAVING FOR A LITTLE MORE POWER. THANKS ALL !!!!!!
