  10. As promised, we have delivered our new website feature that will allow riders to find other riders in their areas. Using Google Maps and our Firestorm DevelopmentTeam , we have a feature no other Off Road Site on the Internet can even compete with. I can’t tell you the number of emails we get from people looking for groups to ride with. Don’t be alone, use this software to find others that enjoy the outdoors. You will love it! In order to use this software all you need to do is register at St. Joe Park - Home. We don’t charge a dime, unlike other sites who try to stick you in the rear! How to Register? Follow these simple steps. 1. On the top right hand site of our site St. Joe Park - Home, you will see Universal Login, click the Register link that is below the Login button. 2. Fill in the registration fields, accept the terms, and click Send Registration. 3. The next screen will tell you we sent a message to your email address. You need to go and read this message, there is a link that validates your registration. Click that link and it will bring you back to our site showing that you are successfully registered. How to Find Nearby riders? 1. On the top right hand site of our site St. Joe Park - Home you will see Universal Login, put in your information that you used to register and click Login. 2. Then look at the on the left hand side under the User Menu, you will see Community Builder, click the link. This takes you to your profile, scroll down and you will see the Google Maps. You can also update your profile on the same page by clicking the Edit button above your photo. You can also request a connection to other friends. You can view a list of all our users by browsing the links under User Menu, you can also submit news and articles. You can check out an example of what the map looks like here: www.stjoepark.com/gmaps.jpg If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at [email protected] thanks ryan
  11. We are a small group of fellow riding enthusiasts. We would like to inform you about a private track and trail riding facility that we propose to construct and operate in the Johnsburg/Thurman area in Warren County, NY. The project involves the creation of 3 ATV tracks and 3 MX tracks for varying skill levels, an oval flat track, a drag strip, approximately thirty miles of backcountry, mountain riding trails, and a campground area on 738 acres. The project has been submitted to the Adirondack Park Agency (APA) for permit approvals and is going through the review process. We are seeking support for this venture from ORV, ATV, Motorcycle clubs and Associations in the New York area, and residents of the State of New York to demonstrate the need and desire for a project of this type to the APA and other oversight agencies. We have been told that this is the first project of its type to be proposed to the APA. We anticipate the ongoing approval process may include a public hearing at some point in time. A show of support in the form of attendance or in writing, at a hearing, could have positive results for not only this project but the entire ORV community. We are told that this will be the first of its kind within the Adirondack Park and possibly the Northeast section of the country. With the confiscation of the ATV Trail Fund and the loss and closure of ride-able land in this state, we see this as an important way to protect and promote our passion for the sport. We hope we can count on your support as we move forward with this project to provide legal riding alternatives to the ATV/MX community. Please feel free to contact us via email to discuss the project, with any information or other avenues of support, or to voice your support. Please include your name and the town you reside in on any emails. We cannot use it to show your support with just a screen name or email address. Thank you. [email protected]
