NEW MEXICO - Cibola NF&G Announces Public Meetings on Draft Plan and DEIS The Cibola National Forest and Grasslands has released the Draft Land and Resources Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Kiowa, Rita Blanca, Black Kettle, and McClellan Creek National Grasslands. The documents have been posted on the Cibola National Forest and Grasslands website: USDA Forest Service - Cibola National Forest All Units NEPA Projects - Kiowa, Rita Blanca, Black Kettle and McClellan Creek NGs Revised Land & Resource Management Plan. Hard copies or CDs are available by calling 505-346-3889. The public is invited to attend one of the following public meetings, where Forest Service employees will be available to discuss these documents in more detail, answer questions, and collect public comments. Comments should be received no later than close of business, December 28, 2011. Written comments can be mailed or delivered to Cibola National Forest and Grasslands, Attn: Grasslands Plan Revision, 2113 Osuna Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113 or submitted by email to [email protected]. They can also be submitted electronically via the Internet at https://cara.ecosystem-management.org/Public/CommentInput?Project=31418. Comments will be accepted at any of the District Offices, at the Supervisors Office, or at the public meetings.
