New to forum. I aquired an "as is" 2003 Polaris 330 Magnum that would only allow the crank to turn one turn either way. When I removed head, I found that the piston is raising above the sleave just enough to hit head (pics attached) and not allow it to make a complete revelution. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?

Came here for help, If it’s in the wrong place I’ll move. I’ve got a 2000 model Polaris Magnum 500 that runs strong as can be for about 25 mins until warm, then sputters and loses power. Took it to a shop and they say it’s low compression and they will have to swap the entire engine. Seems a bit much and costs more than the entire bike. Was wondering if anyone has seen this and what the fix was. When I hear compression I think of gaskets, not an entire engine. Seems like if it was that bad it wouldn’t have power cold. I’m at a loss. Any help is appreciated greatly.

Help, new to atv. Polaris given to me. Ran when got it. Couple years later it backfires when it warms up. Runs great cold! Also starter won't even turn over. Any direction would help.

Greetings I have a 98 Polaris Magnum 425. Runs GREAT for 10 minutes then starts to load up (sounds rich) and looses power. Final;ly just stalls out on idle. If it sits 20 minutes will run again. replaced fuel, added fuel treatment (seafoam), Replaced plug (carbon fouled), plug wires, air and fuel filter, checked all fuel and vac hoses, REPLACED carb with new. Still no good. Just ordered a coil, not sure if that will help Note: both the new and old carb only had the idel adjuster screw - cant find the jet adjustments or air/fuel mix screws so I cannot say how they are set. Looking for ideas short of spending big $$ on Polaris service HELP????? Thanks Dan

Hey all new member so I'm sorry if this isn't the correct place to post, but I'm having trouble with a 2000 polaris magnum 500 I just acquired. The quad ran when I got it but was having problems that sounded like the camshaft, and sure enough camshaft lobe was pretty much gone, so we replaced the camshaft and exhaust rockers and now the quad doesnt have spark. We had the quad running right before we tore the old camshaft out and now no spark. Anybody else ever have a problem similar? We've been checking for loose wires, checked grounds, and double checked timing but cant get it figured out so any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

My quad will not run with the airbox hooked up Will not go past quarter throttle as soon as you unhook the tube at the back of the carburetor it runs great does anybody have any ideas what it could be I have a bad fuel pump one on the way can that cause the quad to run like that

My ATV has stopped charging the battery. I have to charge it with a trickle charger everytime before I use it. What do I need to replace to get it to charge the battery again? Thanks, Dave

key switch wont start (new) but cross solnoid it starts no fan or lights but headlights come on, red light on run switch will come on when key is on. help please
