Hi All.

My daughter rides her ATV all year, and during the warmer months, no problem.

Today we had a few inches of snow, and we went out on the ATVs.

I noticed that after a bit of riding on hers (about 45 mins), the engine stalls every time she changes gears.

Ive basically determined that it must be something to do with either the clutch (automatic transmission) or something related to that. Because the snow must put extra stress on the clutch so as it is warming up to a specific point... it then stalls.

Any ideas ? Suggestions? Fix ? or is this just normal..

      Has anyone had a suzuki 230 quad lock the engine up?  Its a well maintained bike, it locked up when my son was riding it. Pulled the plug, it has connected with the piston. I'm thinking the con rod let go.  I don't have a service manual.  Does the engine need to come out to check further?

      Does anyone have a recommendation of a really Heavy Duty ATV cover. I have bought several and they do keep the water off somewhat, but they are very thin and do not contour with the shape very well and water pools up in the rack louvers. I think i may be looking for a heavy canvas one, if anyone has a recommendation it would be greatly appreciated.
