i would say clean the starter button, take it apart and clean the contacts from the dirt, or your solenoid is stuck. the handle of a screwdriver and a few good taps might knock it back down, or you might have to replace it if the starter button is ok ...

thanks for the advice. The starter button checks ok, cant get the solenoid to release, Im going to try a new solenoid

I have an unusual problem, hpe some one can help. After setting a while I started my machine, and after releasing the start button starter continued to run. Turned off key, and still continued. Had to unhook battery to get it to stop. If I hook battery back up starter runs, even with key off.

Any Suggestions
