Have you tried adjusting the linkage? What characteristics are you trying to accomplish?

I didnt explain very good. this a 1999 300 prairie w/auto trans. I was asking about the springholes in the driven clutch/pulley. the I&T manual says they control the shift characteristics but not what they do.

looking anyone who knows how to change shift characteristics by the spring holes
