Ha we just  heard his story from another member who had a similar problem.  Turns out that when he was rebuilding the top end he put the coolant hoses on and reversed them by mistake.  I don’t know if you or anyone else worked on the atv but look there first.

The coolant hoses are correct I’m kind of thinking it is running rich or lean

Hey Christopher welcome to Quadcrazy, so glad to hear you got it running right.  The cooling system fan runs off a sensor that’s mounted in the radiator. On that sensor are two wires. While the bike is running take the two wires off the sensor and jump them together. The fan should come on.  If not then test the wires for 12 v. If you don’t have 12v then the fan power is obviously not there and it’s a mater of tracing the wires back to the source.  Keep in mind that some manufacturers have two points of protection in place, one is the fuse at the fuse block and the other is an in-line fuse that’s going to the fan.

If you do have power at one of the two wires going to the sensor and when you jump them together and the fan does not come on then your fan motor may be bad.

Thank you very much I will give that a try tomorrow and let you know
