  1. Thinking of taking my quad to B52 Hangar Mx in Rantoul, Il for Quad Night to warm up for the outdoor season.  It's an indoor supercross track for dirt bikes.  Has anyone out there ridden the track on their quad?  Just want to make sure it is worth it to travel 2 hours. Thanks.

  2. Are there any mechanics out there who have experience replacing a voltage regulator/rectifier with one that is not stock.  Manufacturer doesn't make the part anymore for my 1987 Suzuki LT80 Quadsport.  I can't find a used one either.  Dealer said I might be able to use a similar one, but wires would have to be spliced.  I'm not sure if that would work or harm the electrical system.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

Honestly, as far as I know, you could use a different, bigger regulator/rectifier. Same with starter relay, a regular old solenoid for a lawn tractor ought to work. You may just need to change a couple connectors to make it fit.

Thanks for the info!  I'll research that further.  I talked to a couple of Suzuki dealerships a while ago and they did not mention that as an option. I hope it works!  The quad is too mint to junk.

  4. I just acquired a 1987 LT80 Quad Sport that is in excellent condition (only about 10 hrs ride time).  The only problem is it is missing the voltage regulator/rectifier.  Suzuki does not make the part anymore and there are no used ones anywhere.  Would you be willing to sell yours if you cannot get it running?  If not, do you have any ideas as to what I can do to resolve this problem?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
