I would choose the Outlander. I have an Outlander 1000 with a plow. It has tons of power and as mentioned the fenders are nice. It moves a lot of snow, but when the snow is too deep, it does struggle with traction. Tire chains would help. For me, when the snow is that deep, I get the skid steer out, lol.

Having owned and worked on a lot of ATV's, I like Honda. They are well built and mostly bullet proof. As for performance, I love my Outlander 1000. As for value, I have to go with Honda. My Honda rarely needed any work or repairs.

Here in Wyoming, Honda wins in my opinion. Honda is built MUCH better than others, especially Polaris. I have owned and worked on many ATV's. The only thing I had to do to the Honda is clean the carb after it sat for about 6 years before I acquired it. That being said, I have never had to work on my Outlander 1000 and it has a good resale value.
