Yeah, I think the display is just dying. Will keep my eyes open for a good used one.

It could be..  Could you try putting it on a buddy's bike to see if it looks the same, or borrow one for a few minutes.. They only need to be plugged in to try. If you walk into a bike shop they might test it on something in the workshop if you bribe them.

Thanks Mech, I don't know anyone else that has a king quad, but I'll keep digging. I hear that they are kind of expensive to replace. Maybe I will figure it out.🤔

It's also possible the dash is meant to dim if the lights are on..  I'm not sure about that, but it's a possibility. The owners manual might mention it. The service manual I looked in didn't mention it. You might try turning the lights on to see if it makes a difference.. It shouldn't, because they are already dim.. haha.. but we never know what might reveal itself. Turning the lights on will turn on the dash lighting and put more load on the earth and/or earth.. I think..

 

The whole display is dim. I can barely read the fuel gauge. I usually always have a fully charged battery in it. Maybe the display is just going bad, 🤔

The readout screen on my 2006 Suzuki king quad 700 is fading out to the point where it is getting hard to see, especially on a sunny day. All the readouts are still there & working just hard to see like a dimmer switch is turned down low. Any ideas on what is causing this issue???🤔
