Hello everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the day. I just got back from a ride with my wife and son. We rode through a lot of water due to the heavy rains we having. On the way home my sons yfz50 lost power and would barely run at 15mph. It has always been a lot more powerful. It is not bogging or missing or smoking. It seems to be running normally. All fluid levels are where they are supposed to be. The fluids are clean, the air filter is clean, the brakes seem to be working correctly. This little quad might have 25 hours total on it max. Is it possible for the cvt to get stuck in high or low range? I have been looking for procedures for troubleshooting and adjusting the cvt but so far, no dice. The owners manual is practically useless.
If anyone has any experience with one of these little darlings it would be helpful. Do you think all of the water we rode through might have done something to is?
Sincerely,
