I decided to go ahead and try putting in a new fan. Called the dealer to order the fan and found that the retail on the fan is $400. They do discount so I got it for $300. Will put a new switch in while it is apart. If anyone has any suggestions on how to do the job, I would like to hear them.

I don't think it's real bad. May be a little tight getting in under the fender. Thanks for the reply>

How difficult is it to replace a cooling fan on a 2005 Susuki Eiger LTA400F ?

Thanks. I guess I will have to remove the manuel switch before putting the automatic switch in.

I have a 2005 Eiger LT-A400/F that I purchased used with 500 miles on it. The previous owner installed a fan switch on the handle bar due to the fact that the automatic fan switch wasn't working properly. I don't know when the fan shoould be on or off. Should I turn it on after start up and leave it on or replace the automatic switch?

Does anyone know of a repair manuel that covers the 2005 Suzuki Eiger LT-A400F?

The foot pedal switch was the problem. Just took a little adjustment and is working OK now. Thanks.

Once again thanks for helping. I checked the hand levers when the problem first showed up but there didn't seem to be any problem. I haven't been able to look for the foot pedal switch yet but that may be the culprit. I will try to locate that switch on Friday as that will be my first opportunity.

Thanks for the reply. I located the two switches on the hand brake levers. Didn't find the one for the foot brake. Would it hurt anything to spray a little WD40 in the switch?

I recently changed my cooling fan and fan switch on an 05 Suzuki Eiger. It wasn't all that hard to do. I took off both right and left inner fenders and was able to get to evrything easily. The electical connections just plug together. I knew that the fan switch was bad and the fan had bearings were getting noisy.
