the 99 to 04 king quad 300

I looked for ages for my king quad and ended up buying one. It was money well spent. Free would of been better, but what can you do?

I have a 2002 king quad 300. When it gets good and hot I get a drop of oil about every 5 minutes or so that appears to be coming from the area around the top of the head . It drops directly on the exhaust and causes a bit of smoke. It is more annoying than anything else, but I would like to get it fixed. Do you think it is just a gasket issue, or something more serious. Any help would be great. Thanks for reading.
