Hey fellas. So I have a 2012 yfz450r. I work on the road for a living and went to a job and let a friend of mine borrow my wheeler while I was gone. Well, we know how that all turns out. I come home and it’s not running. Swears up and down he just went out to start it one day and wouldn’t start. Well, I start fooling with it and figure out the fuel pump is bad. I replaced the pump a couple days ago and brand new battery. When I go to start it, the engine light blinks every time I hit the start button. So, I decided to try and pull start it. It’ll turn over strong and half-as* run until I pull in the clutch and dies. Then the fuel light came on. I can hear the pump turning on and doing it’s job. Now, when I turn on the key the fuel light stays on, and same deal with engine light blinking every time I hit the start button. Can anyone help me out at all? This has been a NIGHTMARE. Super appreciative for any help. Thanks.

Alright SO. Ended up finding out the code and it was 42. Which was crank shaft sensor. Hours of googling, and it was actually started solenoid relay. Got everything installed and now quad is turning over strong! Unfortunately, it still doesn’t start. And now it’s not throwing a code. It just illuminates the check engine light the whole time I’m trying to start it. Then the light goes off when I release and just have a neutral light on. I imagine whatever the problem is, has to do with it sitting for a long time not being ran. But not positive. Any help is appreciated

      Starter not staying engaged while cranking

      Hi all,
      Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

      HI everyone. New to this forum. I have 98 Kawasaki Bayou 400 with an apparent electrical issue. I have the Clymer manual, but I am not exactly sure where to start. The issue started a month ago and the neutral light would go on and off intermittently. Eventually it went completely off , and I thought it was a shifting issue. I took the case off and checked the clutch and all mechanical shifting components are good, so I think I eliminated that. The switch sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Last time I tried, I did hear a clicking sound near where the battery is right before the light went out. Does anyone have any ideas where to start? Hoping this is an easy fix.

      Help! Polaris 2001 325 Magnum Not Running

      Hey guys! I am new here to the forum and need some help getting my Polaris 325 Magnum 2001 Running.....So I got it for free and it has never run quite right...I put a aftermarket carb on it last year and it was running fine but it only went like 20 maybe 25mph max......But then the needle and seat sealed leaked within a yeah and it flooded it REALLY bad so I changed the oil because it was full of gas. So then I put a genuine Polaris carb on it and I have it set to all the factory specs, but it was still not running right....So I replaced the ignition coil and the spark plug and that solved one of the problems I had (It would bog down and stop running when i would go up a hill) But it still didn't have that much "Punch" to it like my Kawasaki Prairie 300 ans Suzuki Kingkuad 300.....So I replaced the CDI but it's still not running right! It's acting like it rich kinda....So it runs mostly okayish when I have the airfilter on but the top of the airbox off but as soon as I put the airbox lid on it like REALLY bogs down and wants to stall really bad. I have the carb at the factory specs and it has a pretty new fuel pump so I have no ideas whats going wrong! It still nly has a top speed of only about 30-35mph and it sounds like it's choking the whole time! Thank you for sticking to the end, and I hope you guys can help me!

      1992 Polaris 350L 4X4 Not Running

      I have acquired a free 92 Polaris 350L 4X4. Ive replaced carburetor from ebay, replaced spark plug, im trying to pull start but sounds like it doesnt want to fire. Spark is a bright orange spark (checked with spark plug tester), replaced plug, pre mixed gas from an external gravity feed tank. Compression test good. Anyone got any recommendations for me?
