It doesn't matter if you are riding it or stationary, it wont take 5th. By any chance would the 5th gear be value controlled?

The clutch is adjusted and It doesn't slip in any gear it just wont go into 5th gear. I been told that the shift plate may be bent but I can't see how it would shift all gears and reverse but on 5th.

I am new to the forum but I am looking to get so help with a 02 Yamaha Big Bear. everything work great on it, but when I try to shift into 5th gear it will not go in, all other gears work fine. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
