Engineering student here looking for some help, I need to know how much tire size effects how well an atv rolls over logs, rocks, ruts, etc. I was looking into ditching the current 23X7-10 razor II in favor of 20X6-10 itp quadcross mx2 tires, this would cut 8 lbs of rotating mass off the car but given the endurocross nature of the tracks I need to know if we'll still be able to get over logs. Im open to other tire suggestions as long as you include their weights.
The vehicle is basically a 100% scratch built Honda pilot at about 400lbs and will be used exclusively for SAE BAJA.
