Is there a solenoid or relay I could use to jump the starter or just bypass the switch and run it to the battery?

I just got this atv and the starter doesn't work. I can use the pull starter but it doesn't start very easily with that. Does someone have a troubleshooting process for the starter or will I have to actually pull the starter out to test it? Thanks, Rodney
