Westlincolnfeller

Before I go tearing this harness completely apart, I have tested stator, pickup coil, cdi, and have power to coil, I’m sure the coil is shot as it’s out of spec, but, I have an issue(or I think) where I’m getting a circuit with an ohm load checking from coil power to coil ground wire. Am I supposed to have a circuit between the two wires?
