You should look at McClean Creak when its open as there is always a ton of people there which is good for safety. There is a lot of open areas and a lot of dense wooded areas. You need a permit to camp over now but there is a an actual camp ground as well as crown land camping and there is also a simple store at the entrance as well as bathrooms etc..
There is also Waiparous past Cochrane that is open majority of the year depending on specific trails. That is more suitable to 4x4 vehicles but there is a lot of areas to just cruise around.

Im from Alberta, Canada and I am new to Quads. Working on rebuilding a Quadrunner this Spring. Hope I can learn a thing or two from here.

Drove a Jeep for about 9 years and went off road a lot over that time.
Met a guy who was huge into Trikes, Quads and Dirtbikes and became really good friends and he would take me out during camping trips.
Im in the middle of rebuilding a Suzuki Quadrunner I bought from him and will be my first Quad ever.
Hoping to get it fixed up before summer starts and possibly get to test it out in the bush during camping trips.

I am not sure if there is a part number or a name for the end covers to make it easier to look for replacements on these.
Missing both so would be nice to see if there is actually a replacement part for just the covers.

Facebook has been the go to for my friend the last few years. He has been able to buy and sell and find quads and trikes so much faster here in Alberta. Kijiji and ebay can be a pain as a lot of times the items not even anywhere near you. At least with Facebook you can pinpoint an area pretty well.
