all i did so far was traced the battery wire to see where they went im going to get a new battery and try that

i got a 2001 suzuki kind quad 300 4x4 my battery was not holding a charge, first i thought that the machines charging unit was not workin or if it just needed a new battery i had to pull start the machine but i took it out around the yard and the machine just stopped then it melted the the main fuse any ideas what i can do or try?
