Hey guys! I made an account hoping all of you could help me diagnose a problem with this LTR I'm looking at on ksl.

"it runs well when it starts, although takes a minute or two of staying on the throttle a little bit to get it to idle on its own when it is started cold It'll idle once it warms up. It'll even start on it's own when it's warmed up"

that is how the owner described it to me over text. I'll be checking it out Saturday morning. Any advice on what to look for? He is asking $2,400 everything is stock besides an aftermarket air filter. Here's the ad

I took a quick  look at a review  of that  quad.  Since it is  fuel  injected there   should  be  a fuel  enrichening signal  while the  motor  is  cold . My  guess would be  either   a sensor  is not working to  give it  the signal,  or  possibly  because the  quad  is designed   principally for racing   it doesn't  have that feature .. Having  to  give it a  little throttle  until  it warms  up   is  no  biggie  to  me.  If you're  looking  at  the  quad  more  as a trail  rider  than  a racer,  be  aware that it has  no reverse..   You  need  to  manhandle it  back  if  you get  in a sticky  spot..  That  to  me  would be  a deal  killer since  I  am  not  a racer,  and I  definitely  need to  back  up  quite regularly.

Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
Thanks for your help and ride safe.
BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

      Hi all,
Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.
