2004 Vinson Parking Pawl

Any every replace or work on the parking pawl. Believe mine either got broke or worn out not working any more .

I've already took the linkage loose at the loose at rear differential and moved it by hand and can feel the pawl lever cam working but it does not engage the parking pawl. And yes it rolls freely while in park with no noise from differential like something is broke. Vinson runs just fine but no Park

Finally took it apart last week, the parking pawl was broke, I have the factory service manuals both the pdf and printed, the pictures in the manuals are really not that informative in either. The parts are on order will try to post some pictures later. The parking pawl looks to be made of some kind of cast pot metal, fortunately it just broke in two pieces and fell down into the parking pawl housing away from the input shaft

      2001 Big Bear 400 4WD - Battery Removal any tips

      The battery on my Big Bear drops completely down in the battery compartment nothing sticks up to grip too, plus there is only 1/8" clearance along the sides, no way to get a grip on it to pull up out of battery compartment. I thought about putting a piece nylon strap under the battery and leaving enough up each side to give me something to pull it up out ff the battery compartment or using a big zip tie around the battery.
      Any others have any ideas or have had this issue.

      Hi, I am new to  this forum and I am happy to be here.  I purchased a Yamaha 350 Big Bear without a title and I cannot find a Vin number to find out what year it is.  I am hoping someone here can help me identify this atv. I checked on the main frame near the front A-arm left side found nothing.  I checked up near the radiator and found nothing.  Where else should I look?  See image below.

      I've got a 1995 220 Bayou and the electric start does not work.  When I got it the machine was pretty rough but I was told it ran less than a year ago.  The key switch had been cut off and wires  twisted after the key was lost.  I bought a new ignition switch and repaired the wiring and it is working correctly.  It is in neutral and the neutral light is on when the key is turned on but I get nothing when pressing the start button.  I verified there is no voltage going to the starter from the solenoid.  The fuse in the solenoid is good.  Something I found that is odd is that I get positive voltage(12 volts) to the brown, black, and white wires that run into the solenoid when the key is on.  That doesn't make sense to me but I could be wrong.  I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you in advance.

      I have Grizzly 700 that has been pretty much totaled out in a bad accident, but it will still run and drive good...
      Will this engine swap into any of the Yamaha UTV's like thr rhino and Viking 700's?
      Was just going to sell it as is for a engine for someone who needs one pretty cheap..but been thinking about getting a UTV for the family and maybe find one with a blown engine cheap and swap it out
      I already an excellent shape 2001 Big Bear 400 4x4 for us..but kinda been looking for a good used UTV for us and the grandkids on our property to play with
      Not sure of the year..i can't remember what year it was when i picked it up for a buddy a few years ago..he went to jail after he totaled this thing and told me to pick up a few things at his house he was renting and just keep them for myself since he owed me a bunch of money before the landlord sent them to the dump...
      The first picture is when i went and picked it up for him..second is how it is now..frame is all twisted up and plastics are fubarred..going to sell the rims and tires.they stick out way too wide on my Big Bear
