  1. Thanks, I’ll give it a shot and report back
  2. Yes, that’s correct. Those are the originsl tire supplied, and they’re great so I stuck with them.
  3. Does yours have the metal or plastic racks? I have a front metal rack in my garage from an 07 outlander. Was going to try to retrofit it on my 05 outlander that has plastic racks but I never followed through.
  4. Hopefully my picture shows properly. A simple google search for the Carlisle ACT radial tire 26x8-12, shows the dealer significantly lower. So I bought them from my local dealer.
  5. Thanks for the info, that will come in handy. But in my case, the previous owner had their name programmed in by the dealer so on startup, their name scrolls across the screen. I’d like it to revert back to the factory startup message.
  6. I just bought a 1984 Suzuki LT185 ATV and am looking for the OWNER’S manual. ( not a service manual) I contacted Suzuki Canada but they have no paper or digital copies in their archives. Does anyone possibly have a digital copy they’d be willing to share?
  7. Bummer! But keep in mind I was just saying “ check” their price before assuming it’ll be higher. I guess it depends on what tire(s) you’re after, and I’m sure they wont always be cheaper!
  8. I have a 2015 Outlander L 500 max. any way to change the start up message in the cluster WITHOUT taking it to the dealer and paying $100???
  9. For what it’s worth, I have an 05 Outlander 400 with the exact problem, bendix not staying engaged more that a second or 2 when starting. I order a new one and replaced it. Same symptoms. Turns out my battery was on it’s last legs. It cranked, but not hard enough I guess. Put a new battery in, bendix never disengages now. Oh, and I now have a spare bendix…
  10. Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer. There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!
  11. Canam Outlander Max, 2 of them. Ridin’ the rocks, in the Rocky Mountains in Alberta Canada.
  12. Lol that kind of depends where you are… In the Kaslo BC area, we ride to the top of Mt Buchanan, and some old railway lines ( no tracks) in the Castlegar area.
  13. Happy Victoria Day ( if you’re in Canada!) Went for a short ride in the mountains, but some rain blew in… so the ride got REALLY short!
  14. That LT80 looks awesome! I’ve been posting about an LT185 I just bought, snd It’s great too but has no “ footboard”, which I wish it had. Your LT80 has a nice footboard made of welded tubular steel, it looks like. I wonder if those would fit the 185…? If anyone happens to know, chime in!
  15. I have a 2015 Canam Outlander L 500 Max. It’s a v-twin, and smooth. The power steering is great. Not only is it power steering, but DYNAMIC power steering it adjusts the assist to speed, etc and has 3 settings, light, med , and heavy assist. I’m in my 60’s and I recommend the outlander w/DPS!
