1987-1992 quadrunner models

I have decided that I want to get an early quadrunner, but I have seen some posts that refer to different models. Was there a 2-stroke and 4-stroke version? Was there a 4x2 and a 4x4 version?  Was there an automatic and manual version? Was there a diff lock and non-diff lock version? What options were available for the gearbox? When did the LT-F250 get named an Ozark or is it different again?

I am getting confused and it is difficult to find definitive answers. Can anybody help???

      03 Recon 250TM (Manual) locking up

      O3 sat a while. Engine is running fine. I got it into neutral, did some general tune-up and cleaning then pulled the shifter pedal up and it locked up and will not release into neutral again.  Does anyone have experience with this problem?  Thanks for looking and any help.

      Hi all, 

      I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

      Chain guard solution 1987 Quadrunner LT230E

      I'm in the middle of repairing damage from the chain coming off of this from the previous owner. (I learned this is somewhat common on these for various reasons.)
      What are you guys using to either help keep the chain correct and on the sprocket or guarding your engine in the case that it comes off / breaks?
      Is there an upgraded guard that can bolt around the sprocket in replacement of the currently broken OEM alluminum?
