I can say it hehe, it's Castrol super clean, purple bottle. It is often described as a form of Simple Green, but don't be confused- the super clean will raise heck with finishes but Simple Green will not. :skeptic:

    • 1999 KLF220A - Parts search

As I am new to the world of Kawasaki ATV's, I was wondering if anyone could make a few recommendations where I can find some parts. For sure I will need 4 tires, a wiring harness, an ignition switch, a battery, maybe a carb, the little hose from air box to carb,  the front cover above the main fenders (cowl cover?) and of course the standard spark plugs and filters. Oh and URRRGGGHH on this, a whole bunch of nuts bolts and screws. The arsehat that removed various panels, lost most of the screws and bolts.  For an OCD'er like me that drives me bonkers. Thanks for any help. Oh and yes I am trying the search tool, though it seems to not be forum specific? However, I also need post counts that are not spam. Max

    • Best/ Cheapest site/ place to get parts

I live in north Phoenix, Arizona. I just recently got a 1987 moto 4, YFM350ERT. Where would be a cheap place or website to get parts? I know I will need a few things. I'm looking into finding a manual for it so I can get right stuff but that seems to be difficult. thanks

    • Cleaning/sealing electrical

Thought I'd throw this one in the club section to help raise the lack of activity here. I'm fixing up a '00 Bayou 220 that I picked up last weekend; needs the carb rebuilt, at least that's all I was hoping it needed. Anyways, decided to check the battery, starter, spark, all that jazz so I was good to go when I got the carb fixed.. and that's when I found an intermittent short in the start switch as well as the headlight switch. So I removed the switch housing from the handlebar to find this: I dismantled the entire assembly, blew it all out with compressed air, cleaned everything including the corroded contacts, and then reassembled it all making sure to put dielectric grease on all the exposed electrical. It looks 1000x better than before and everything works as it should (though I think I installed the kill switch backwards lol).  My question is this: Is that good enough? As a former auto mechanic, I'd always seal any external electronics to prevent dirt, moisture, etc from getting in. However, the design of the housing doesn't really make this possible. I'm not trying to make this thing 100% submersible, but with the switch being old/original I'd like to know it won't fail on me if I get caught in a downpour or something.
