Mystery Vin

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, new here and in need of some assistance. I just picked up 4 4wheelers for my kiddos (and me). Well I know what 3 of them are and have no issues looking up the Vin online but I have one mystery vin that can't be found in a search and all stickers are just a little to faded to read. Here is the vin : LAAASTKA562003037. It was stamped on a frame rail under the front bumper. Everywhere I search the vin it comes back with some kind of error.... am I being a dummy? Is this random 17 digit number not the vin 😅. I'll add a picture of it as well. Kinda looks like a baja but not quite, no markings anywhere and it is heavy as hell for its size. Any and all help is appreciated! Thank you

It is a 2006 Jialing, made by Shanghai Jailing Vehicle Co., according to the Vin number you posted , the search didn't like the period at the end. Not much information and most sites couldn't find it.

Did you find a website that pulled any info from the vin? Another page I added on said it was a 200cc gio beast l, which is kind of another odd ball. I mean the plastics held up great for sitting in the sun for 2 years equivalent to the suzukis, much better than the taotaos.

      VinDecoderz says it's a YFM350 (Moto4 350) trim YFM350ER
Is that a Big Bear? Or a Moto 4? Or are they the same thing?
I've google'd around for information, and was able to find a (czech board in english) that had a Yamaha service manual for the YFM350X series, LIT-11616-YM-37. The 'Warrior' type. I'm trying to get something more accurate. I'm not sure which manual I need. Pictures included in this post.
I'm also looking to get a wiring harness for it.

having an issue with the unit when running under a load up a hill or in high gear, seems like the belt is slipping, there is a clapping sound coming from the primary clutch like it releases and snaps back in. i don't think I should have a noise like that. this is a friends unit and he has already replaced the primary twice with the same result.
not sure where to look next

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.
