1990 Yamaha 250 noisy driveline

I'm looking for advice and a service manual for a 1990 Yamaha 250 Moto.

Its old but its mint except for a pretty bad driveline noise when changing from forward to reverse and back. It also makes the same noise if you are moving forward at slow speed and you bounce on the suspension.

I think it could be the drive shaft U joint. Any advice or help with a service manual would be appreciated. Under the gun for timing. Taking it up north in a week and a half.:canadaflag:

      03 Recon 250TM (Manual) locking up

      O3 sat a while. Engine is running fine. I got it into neutral, did some general tune-up and cleaning then pulled the shifter pedal up and it locked up and will not release into neutral again.  Does anyone have experience with this problem?  Thanks for looking and any help.

      Anybody familiar with this noise from my quad? Just started.  It temporarily goes away when I attempt to shift into another gear but shifting has gotten harder too.

      Hi everyone and thanks for reading. 
      My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on. 
      We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best. 
      Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.

      Looking for Quadrunner Flywheel Starter Clutch Gear race diameter

      Hi all, 

      I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).
