2002 Honda Foreman 450es - Reverse Issues

I have a 2002 450 foreman es. When doing several shifting into reverse like when plowing it starts to become troublesome to get back to a foreward gear.Have to keep pressing the shift buttom several times to get out of reverse.Has anyone had this issue ?Is there a fix to this problem? Thanks

Take the (angle) sensor off and clean it with a q-tip and pressure spray it with a can of compressed air-dust cleaner. It's a bit of a challenge getting to it ... there are only 2 bolts that hold the small metal cover over the sensor and 2 bolts that hold the sensor on. Also clean the small rubber seal-ring inside as well, make sure you don't lose it when you take the sensor off and also clean the sensor wire connection plug and put some dielectric grease on it.
