I own a 1994 suzuki 250 4x4. The front gears, I believe, have a broken tooth. When I am in 4x4 high and going down the road I can hear what sounds like a broken tooth flopping around in the front end. I think I broke the gear when the brakes were frozen and I put the machine in 4x4 diff. lock to break it free. It only makes the sound when I am in 4x4 mode. It may also be the sound of the gap clanking back and forth because of the broken tooth?
My question is can I fix this, do they make parts (replacement gears) and is it a super complex job???
Also, where do most of you order your parts from for your quads. I really don't like going to the local dealer for parts. If you know of a great online store please tell!
