If you use slime, pay someone else to change your tire.

Definitely this, but also tell them about it first. I used slime about 10 years ago in a tyre, took the wheels to be replaced with new tyres and forgot about the slime in them (it was almost 2 years after I'd put it in).

Needless to say, I was their most hated customer the moment the tyre separated from the rim and Satan's fart juice spread all over the workshop. That stuff gets everywhere.

  2. Machines that have been sat for that long tend to rust up internally with many years of moisture and no oil flow around things. They might require a bit of work to get going reliably, plus probably a new carb, lines, tank because the fuel will be well off by now. Also those tyres have probably started to perish too.

But still, Warriors are cool. I still remember mine - so much torque off the bottom end / mid range, and they make a great sound!

  3. When I was 4 years old (1993), my dad was given an LT50 as a substitute for money for some work that he did for somebody. That was my first quad. I've lost count of how many I've had since, but I've had at least one from every manufacturer and (as far as I can tell) one of every model build since 2004 at some point.
