If you're doing a front mount, try not to mount too high as this pulls down and buries you in the goo. If wanting to be able to use front and rear, I would look for removable mount like the small trailer hitches, and a heavy duty cable plug so you can just plug it in front or rear

Definitely stay away from the methanol blends, nothing but trouble. Premium fuel is worth the price of repair in the long run

I know there are numerous synthetic blends, which means they aren't pure synthetic. You could probably top off with regular oil but this will make your oil thicker when cold.
