  1. I took a better look at this and you do have to take the tubular body brace, the one that supports the foot rest and has the pin that the shift pedal is attached to, off. Anyway, I have the old shift pedal off, just waiting on the new one to arrive.
  2. Does any one know how to replace the shift pedal on a 2007 yamaha big bear 400? The ball broke off the back of the pedal. It looks like just an e clip holds it on but it doesn't look like there is enough room to get it off after you remove the clip. Do you have to raise the engine or is the bracket with the pin that it is mounted to removable? I haven't looked at it too close yet, just happened today while trying to plow snow. Thanks in advance for any info.
