  1. I am not that yong either but in a few years this could be a good retirement hobby. Rehabing old quads. Low cost and should be able to sell them after I am done to buy the next project lol.
  2. I just rehabbed a 88 MOTO 4 200 that I picked up for $300 off of Market Place. I got a fully operational machine on the trails for under $600. Parts are cheap and plentiful on Amazon. All I needed was a coil, a carb (the price of a carb is not much more than a rebuild kit, saving a lot of tedious work), a new petcock (the handle was broke off) brake pads and front brake cables). Oh yeah and redneck engineer the the air box as the door and cage were gone and I was unable to source them for a reasonable price. Good luck on your project and have fun.
  3. When I was dating my Wife in 2018 she introduced me to Quads and the Wisconsin trails. As she had grown up with 3 and 4 wheelers. I have always been a street bike guy. Ended up hooked on Her and Quads.
  4. Here in Wisconsin no need for a title but if you want to ride on public trails you do need to register it every 2 years with the Department of Natural Resources. Which at the time you register it they ask what you paid for the machine and charge you sales tax. My $300 backup machine I just put on the trail was a total of $50 to to register. Worth it as registration fee goes to keeping the trails open.
