1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250; found pin in motor.

Hi thanks for the reply its a 97 model -
I just did an oil change and I found the pin in the oil drain plug hole, I just cannot figure out what this pin could be from, any ideas. The ATV still shifts and runs great.... TIA Just realized I havnt gave much information, Yamaha 1997 Timberwolf ATV
