yes, i have never been down there yet, that is highway 63 in the background. the main link from calgary/edmonton to fort mcmurray. 4 1/2 hours from edmonton. i try to stay in the woods ....

remember the pic where i was just looking over the top? and you said thats what 4 wheel drive is for? well this is an extension from that and it was easier than i thought getting back up, just 2 wheel all the way LOL

This aurora image was taken just west of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada by a sky watcher.

Flowing multi-colored auroras helped to illuminate a busy sky above Tromsø , Norway. Besides the spectacular aurora pictured above, the photographer caught three satellites streaks, one airplane streak and a friend trying to capture the same sight.
