Tinkerman: In this case its not the bearing, the fan motor works intermittently so I'm assuming the brushes. For $56 I think I'll avoid the hassle and get a new motor. But just for interest I think I will take the old one apart anyway.

Rich: What was the part # for the fan motor from The Fan Man, I talked to them yesterday and they wanted the part #, was it SPAL 30100411??? Thanks Trev
