HeyI am working on a friends 2004 Suzuki 500 vinson. It would not run so I took the carb apart and clenaned passages and jets and soaked carb overnight. Put machine back together and it started right up and ran great for 1/2 hr then it will sputter and stall. Wait a few hrs and the same thing happens. I took the spark plug cap off cut a 1/4 inch off and re installed the cap. It has a new spark plug in the machine. I cleaned a screen in the fuel line also. It seems like the coil heating up and shorting out or not enough fuel getting to the carb although draining the carb there is plenty of fuel. Any ideas and thanks in advance.
