  1. I bought a 2010 550 Sportsman. I do my own service work as much as possible. I wanted to change the transmission oil. Book said to remove right side footwell. Not so. Access the drain and fill plugs by removing right rear wheel, then rear skid plate. Book also says to lube front shaft u-joints. My rig doesn't have grease fittings on the u-joints. When trying to drain and refill front demand drive and rear axle gear box, found the fill plugs torqued so tight from the factory that I could not remove them. Looks like a visit to Polaris service dept. to get the dang plugs out. anyone else notice any of this? I love the machine, it is the best quad I ever rode and I have put over 30,000 miles on four different machines in the last 15 years.
