I think you are on to something with the jet, i'd try to get a hold of service manual.  If you bought a kit though it should be specific to your model.

I see lots of carb rebuild kits for sale on line, anywhere from $15 bucks on up to $50+.  Has anyone had good luck with the real cheap kits?  Or can you recommend one brand over the other?

      Hello eeveryone,
Just picked up an 86 Suzuki LT185 for my daughter, and she's complaining that it bounces so bad over bumps that it nearly throws her off the quad. I have the tire pressures some where around 3 psi. I really can't go any lower than that. I noticed that there isn't anything in the aftermarket world for shocks and springs for this quad. I am wondering what others are doing to soften up the ride. Also wondering if there's a way to fabricate a rear shock, since there isn't one.  I appreciate your feedback.
      Thanks!

The clutch cover goes on and fits, but the little L chapped arm that has gear slots is concerning me.  It appears it goes to wear the clutch adjust bolts are on the cover.
Is there a specific way to tell how it mounts on the gears in relationship with the basket?
