1989 Suzuki lt50 Runs Then Dies

Recommended Posts

I am having trouble with the quad it has a aftermarket China carburetor it starts and runs for about 10 minutes then dies out it will start but you have to keep playing with the chock but can't seem to keep it to stay on no more then a few seconds. What are the correct jet and piolet jet size? Any help please..

My 2014 750 king quad stalls sometimes when I touch or turn the handlebars, the problem has gotten worse,my machine has 475 miles and is only trail ridden,I have a new factory battery and i have 14.2 volts when the quad is running and 13.3 on the battery when not running, also using a multimeter there is no change in volts when turning the bars until it does stall,If I pull the 40 amp power steering fuse it will not stall.......I've been told its the ECU,Hate to buy one if thats not the problem, but its kinda leaning towards that,,,,,need some opinions.

Ok so just picked up an 02 ds 650 and the guy said he couldn't get it to start. He had a shop put new shims in it and I had them checked and they were ok now things I've done is new plugs even though guy had just put new plugs in it.. got new carb 42mm just like the one that was on it.. bought new intake manifold because the one that was on it someone got way to tweaked out and ported the shit out of it excuse my language but yeah so installed new intake manifold and it just won't start like its not getting enough fuel.  Timing seems to be right it does fire every now and again but just barely.. did a compression test today and it was at 90psi.. i know thats low but don't know where I'm losing compression.. valves we at .06 and .07 when checked im lost ive tried everything I know and can't figure it out

Hi everyone! I'm from New Zealand, and doing up a Suzuki Lt50 for the kids. This is the first bike I've ever worked on, and it's currently not running. Hoping that both Google and this forum will get me through! Haha

I bought my kid a 03 suzuki quadmaster lt50 some years back and is bored with it cuz it has no balls. It has a 2-stroke 50cc motor in it and i know it has to be baffled down somehow to accomodate little kids. My question is has anyone on here tried to unbaffle or modify one of these to get its full potential? If so, Was it worth doing?
