Trying to replace the carburetor on my 2003 Bear Tracker 250. Two brand new carbs in a row from different suppliers.   Both leak fuel out over flow and intake as soon as I turn the gas on. Any ideas. Am I doing something wrong?

I have found that it is wise to pull the float bowl of any new or replacement carb. and examine the float level, jet size, needle and seat. Compare the jet sizes to assure they are the same as the original and make sure the float level is correct and the needle valve is not stuck.  Often times after market replacements lack the quality control standards of OEM parts.

Carburetor cleaning / rebuild By Frank Angerano, August 6, 2019 in General ATV Discussion

@Randel1 hit on some very good points. Nothing like an oem carb. Aftermarket carburetors never work well unless they are a very aftermarket manufacturer and that price would compare to the oem carb price.

Take a look at this post and maybe it will help you out.

Keep in mind that your float needle has a rubber tip on it that closes off the fuel when the float rises. It gets worn. Could be as simple as that.

      Hello there
I'm having a problem finding a quality carburetor for a 1993 Suzuki Quad Runner lt-f 250 2x4. I find a lot that have 3-4 star ratings. And all so far don't have the right throttle Cable inlet at the top. The last one I got 4 star on Amazon has a threaded cable sheath rest that could be partially drilled to work. I would prefer to get one I don't have to modify. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Need a little help fixing a no spark issue. 2002 BT with the 2 wire ignition switch. I have 4 stators and 2 CDI's and 3 coils to test. The new stator reads 218 ohm, and .2 ohm, the one that came out of it reads 50K and .2, the other is 132 and .2. All of the coils are 0.00 ohm, and there is no way to test the CDI that I know. I have also confirmed the replacement stator pins match the factory locations. I did try to test milli-volts at the coil to see if it was getting any signal from the CDI but nope. IDEAS?

I've been tryna find a replacement intake manifold for my 85 LT250EF because it's all hardened up but i can't seem to find one. Are there any other manifolds that would fit this model. Or how should i soften this manifold. I saw that wintergreen oil would help to soften it up but i wouldn't know how long it would last. Any other tips on how to get a tight seal around the engine intake would be appreciated.
