Clean the carb, dump the fuel and replace with new, and change the fuel filter. It's most likely some water in your float bowl and will idle ok because it's only pulling small amounts in at idle but when you hit it it wants to suck up a lit of fuel but theres to much water so it dies.

KQ 700s are EFI. It's likely the throttle position sensor that's faulty or out of adjustment, or a faulty fuel pump. You can see what the EPU thinks the TPS is doing by looking at the lines on the bottom of the dash when you turn it on with the diagnostic jumper wire in.

      Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

      Faulty CDI Workaround / "Park-Circuit" Fix: 2009 Suzuki LT-A400 (KingQuad)

      I wanted to share a successful workaround for a "no-spark" issue on a 2009 LT-A400.
      This is specifically for cases where the CDI has been diagnosed as faulty, but the age or condition of the machine makes the cost of a brand-new OEM unit hard to justify.
      Note: This modification compromises the factory “no-start” circuits.
      On some malfunctioning CDI units the internally damaged circuitry is only partial.
      Feeding full time power to the Parking Brake pin, the unit is triggered to bypass the internal fault and produce a healthy consistent output to the Ignition coil.
      The Modification
      See the second diagram attached below for the wiring specifics.
      The Result:
      The machine has clocked over 1,000km since this repair and is still running strong with no ignition dropouts.
      ⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING ⚠️
      Please be aware that this modification compromises the factory safety "no-start" circuits.
      The machine will now start in gear. The safety interlock involving the handbrake is no longer functional. The machine can move unexpectedly if the starter is pressed while in gear. Proceed at your own risk. If you sell the machine or let others ride it, ensure they are fully aware that these factory safety buffers have been removed.

      98 Polaris Magnum 425 4x4 speed limiter advice needed.

      I suspect this bike may have a bad speed limiter. The part number for is 4060204. I found this one on ebay but it has a part number that is 1 number different. (4060203). It has the same LR44-2 and says its for a 94 Magnum 425. Will this one work on my machine or do I absolutely have to have the 4060204? Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you

      PLASTIC WELDING HINTS TIPS AND ADVICE WANTED

      Hi all, does anyone know what type of plastic is used for making ATV fairings.
      In particular Suzuki Quadrunner 1992, if i cannot get a plastic for it in Red for the rear i will attempt repair.
      I have a King Chrome plastic welding kit, however you need to know what type of plastic you are welding.
      Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
